Did anyone write down the setlist? Wish I had of.
It was an amazing show. The band seemed to really be getting into it, especially Paul... more so than I've ever seen (been seeing them live since 1999).
They opened with Paul playing Impossible solo acoustic. Other highlights (well for me) were Happy Endings as it's my favourite song and many others. The setlist for the first part was mostly earlier stuff, and a lot of songs off Beautiful Sharks which was great. They played Higher Than You Think and there was an Elliot Smith cover in there somewhere also.
All up they played for 1hr 45 mins
Some Dempsey between song banter for anyone who is interested: > He said that Down the Garden Path was the first song written for Desert Lights > Said "Faster" was probably his favourite SFK song > Tried to get all of the crowd clapping in the intro to a song (sorry can't remember which one)... when they weren't being enthusiastic enough he said "come on people up the back, don't they teach this at uni?" > He also commented that the first time they played at the Bar on the Hill it was a very very long time ago and it was a free show at lunch out on the lawn where a stage had been setup. He said they don't do things like that anymore now with VSU (Voluntary Student Unionism). And then he said something like "I'll leave that one with you..."

Yeah they played stunt show as i mentioned in my other post in tours. I think it was Oh kamikaze that Pip got us to start clapping to. They seemed to be pretty worn by the the end of the show, I thought they wouldn't come back for the encore. Paul was getting into the guitar to point i thought he would fall over!
I brought my camera to the show but only took a pic of Paul in impossible. Will have to post it if it looks good when i find my cable to dl it.

I had a look around my room, and I half-drunkenly wrote down as many songs as I could think of, which ended up being a fairly sizable list. It wasn't in order, though. Excellent show, by the way. I'd never seen them perform Beautiful Sharks live with the full band before.
