a lot can happen in 12 days. Did your house burn down with all of your possessions, including CD stack and MP3 collection?

it's a bit depressing when the organiser of the whole shebang is too lazy to participate

dude you don't have to make a cd for everyone?? in fact you don't have to buy anything to do this except packaging from the post office.
You just rip all the cds that get sent to you into MP3 and pass them on with the cd you made... and turn the mp3s into cds later if you want.

I don't really get how it works, either. I send mine to Justin, sure, and in the end Steph sends me all of them. What about, say, Mark? He'll only get half of them? Or do we all have to send it off again then? It'd be easier if everyone sent their CD to one person, and that person ripped them all and sent them all out to everyone. Of course, that person would have to be unlazy and everyone send them postage and shit.

I guess it can be either done in one of two ways.
1 - One person can recieve all the cds chuck it in a cd wallet and send that cd wallet (with 10 cds in it) on to the next person. This will save on postage, you will only have to send something twice (first sending your own to the main person with the wallet, and then sending the wallet with all the cds in it). The downside is, having 10 cds coming to you at once. Kinda crazy.
Another way it could be done, is the main organiser ripping those 10 compilations onto an mp3 disc or two and sending that on down the list. You can copy the mp3disc to your computer and burn the compilations to CD yourself, if you like them. Takes away a bit of the magic of the whole package of it and listening to it first run on the stereo though I guess.
2 - The other option is to just send your cd onto the next person, wait for one to come to you and send that on. This takes away the bombardment of cds, but adds hella postage costs. This was used last time and never really worked out.

yeh last time was a very slow process. i think the idea of everyone sending one person their cds is good, and them sending them on in a cd wallet or the like, to the next person.
