I'm curious as to what people in the forum do with their sprare time. I collect comic book - for example, this is my favourite peice of cover artwork ever, by a guy called Todd McFarlane.

I used to collect comic books when I was younger, but the expensive prices and continual story crossovers made me stop.
I've been rereading back through some of my old books recently though. So hmm, maybe I might pop into a comic store again out of curiosity in a few weeks.

Hmm, okay, my hobbies. Sportswise, I play badminton (have for about 10 years), do body combat (combination thingie of martial arts and tai chi) and go to the gym (although only recently so I'm no Arnold Schwarzenegger yet). Non-sportwise, I draw (generally anything, but mainly caricatures and comics of my own creation) and attempt to learn my guitar. I used to be into muds when I was at high school but I got bored of that. It's been a long time since I've actually played a mud. However, I still sometimes hang around Wee Hours ( weehours.net) to just chat to people I remember.

For example, the 20 books I buy each month cost me a little under $100. I can set you up with the cheapest place in Oz if you like, but it would be mail order from Canberra.

If anyone is familiar with model trains, the scale i used for my modelling is HO. I Havent worked on my model trains for a long time, and i'd show you some photos if i had a digital camera handy.

I'll explain a little more ( everyone else is ) I like drawing and painting, but I'd have to say I'm a better drawer than painter. I usually just do abstract and surreal pictures, but lately I've changed a little. Yesterday I drew a picture of the old farmhouse my great, great grandfather lived in, in Scotland ( I had a small photo of it to use as a reference ) I also enjoy photography. But because for some reason I enjoy being odd, I take rather........different photographs. I just like to capture things that others might walk straight past ( if that makes sense ) I play the drums aswell.

At the moment I am reading: Ultimate X-Men New X-Men The Ultimates Ultimate Spiderman Amazing Spiderman Peter Parker : Spiderman Uncanny X-Men Wolverine The Punisher Avengers JLA Green Lantern eXiles I've just gotten my hands on the first Preacher tradepaperback, and am currently looking for the Ghost World one as well.

My mum has a collection of old Phantom comics, they are good to look at. I like to play guitar, chat on the net........Oh I collect band stickers...either go on my guitar or in a box... One thing that keeps me un-bored some of the times is playing this dare game I have going with my best friend. We dare each other to do crap, document it and yeah...one day it will get blown out of proportion and I will have Nicole jumping off stuff or trying to assasinate people......All in good fun though
