I know alot of people here have seen this recently (the cinema was full of young 20-somethings) and I'm wondering what everyone thought about it.

I loved it. I thought it was refreshing and honest and mind-opening. I absolutely adored Natalie Portman's character, she did an incredible job.

i also really loved it. i planned to see this aaages ago (since hearing that a frou frou song was on it + the scrubs guy) for a really really planned-ahead date with pepe, and was not let down having waited like 4 months or something.
definitely random humour, which i appreciate. but still a thinky/feely movie too.
fanpriceless.

I saw the preview on TV and it looked really good ... I liked the camera angles and stuff ... it seemed like it would be arty - but I saw an interview on Rove I think it was and when I realised the guy from Scrubs actually wrote it I assumed (and it would seem wrongly) that it would probably suck.
But yeah, I guess I'll go and see it now.
PS - I can't stand Natalie Portman ... I don't know why? Maybe because I hate Star Wars or something ...

Natalie Portman should not have done starwars, soo the mistake of her career. She's a good actress otherwise and chooses pretty good roles.
i liked this film a lot, that beaver thing was so funny. As was the bit where they're in her bedroom and talking about doing something that no one has ever done before. hehe.

I've been hearing great things about this movie for ages, and thanks to this thread, I downloaded it over night and plan to watch it this evening. Maybe.
We did that with Saw too, but that was a bit... bleak. :/

try piratebay.org for a start. It's in another language, but you get the point. Then head for torrent sites like suprnova.org. Justin can help here I'm sure.

I think the one thing that pleased me the most about Garden State was the inclusion of Three Times a Lady by Lionel Richie which was sung at Braff's Mother's Funeral.

Suprnova.org is a pretty good start, as Melly has suggested, for finding movies, games, and software in particular. If you are looking for things like comic books or tv shows, it is probably better you look at speciality Torrent sites like: www.tvtorrents.com or www.zcultfm.com.

Suprnova died a couple of days ago along with a couple of other large torrent sites. For a non-specific torrent site i'd try www.lokitorrent.com/
