None in the second dream either. Just hand holding, longing gazes, and comfortable silences.
That kind of thing.

Have ny of you guys ever had sequential dreams, by that I mean going to sleep and waking up and them having the dream pick up about where it left off. I remember this occuring so often for me in high school that I began to ponder which was reality.
Without words your dreams are closest to mine, do you ever find recurring people in them that you've never even seen/met etc?
Another thing I wanted to ask is has anyone ever had dreams wherein you have spoken to the dead?

I remember this occuring so often for me in high school that I began to ponder which was reality. I have so I can relate yeah. Or sometimes it'll be the same place that I've dreamt of before but it's at a different time period and the people and objects may be different to what they were before. When I have dreams that have a strong impact I often wonder how people can so casually dismiss their dreams as just random mental images.

I had a dream a few nights back, and a few of us were in Macca's. I wanted that chicken fold-over thing, and as it turned out, it was a Subway/Macca's mix, in that they made them right in front of you (shhurree!). And you could add extras, like pickles and stuff. Except the pickles weren't called pickles, they were called... Moving Right Along (ha). These Moving Right Along were only 20cents more, and I've always liked the pickles, so I said, sure, give me the Moving Right Along with my foldover. I got looks of disgust but I was happy and walked away. Interesting much? ;p

Did the Moving Right Alongs have a country flavour? I've heard that there's a non-country flavour coming soon.

As stupid as it may sound, I believe inside my subconcious is something that is trying to reveal itself to me - through dreams, thoughts, ideas, and the most mysterious, deja vu.
I seem to have moments when suddenly I'll realise I've experienced this before, and its gone within a second, like a whisper in the air. Somehow, in my mind, I know that the moment I feel it, something isn't right - I've experienced it before, whether it be in dreams or reality.
I feel (and fear) my dreams are a narration of some sort, telling me something...

I just found it interesting in that not many people are into Moving Right Along much, and I was the one that said I'd take it. Maybe it's my mind's way of saying, you know what, give Moving Right Along a chance.
Or not.

Sounds like a good interpretation. I feel (and fear) my dreams are a narration of some sort, telling me something... I know exactly what you mean by that Deane. It's like it's impossible to understand how people can claim that dreams are just random images when you just somehow know that your dreams are something more. It's like your dreams are trying to show you something that you can't fully comprehend while awake. It’s just glimpses of clarity from time to time that are leading to something.

It's one of the reasons why I can't bring myself to agree with Dempsey's idea that fate and freewill are mutually exclusive. While on one hand, I believe that we're responsible for the choices we make and that we can influence our future, on the other hand, I've seen in my dreams things, places, and people before I've seen them in the waking world. I guess you'd call it precognition, and if I believe in such a thing, then I have to believe in fate too and that some things in the universe happen for a reason. So yes, you can have it both ways.

aaggghhhhh my favourite topic.....dreams!!!! i was hoping that there would be a thread somewhere here about dreams! i always have really warped dreams....sometimes not so weird but they always make for good conversation starters! while at uni doing my masters, i had dreams about EVERYONE in my class, including the lecturers (so about 12 people all up) and.....erm.....most dreams were ummm sexual Everyone used to gather around at the start of lessons on a Monday morning to hear about what i had dreamt of lately......and most couldn't understand why i would actually REVEAL these deeply intimate and twisted dreams with them! i am a vivid dreamer and a great rememberer of them! i've dreamt a lot of sfk-related things, people i work with, friends, clients (these are prolly the ones i hate admitting to because ppl really do think i'm weird when i dream about my clients ), strangers.....list is endless! maybe i'll post one of my fave dreams up here one day, but for now, i'm interested in reading all of yours so i'm gonna go back and read the earlier posts!
