The word lilac is like a sedative,
when said the right way it creates a haze in your mind.
When I see you I think of purple
and the frustration and tension begins to boil in my head
Azure sounds exotic, it makes me feel special
even though I really know it's only light blue in disguise
White, like a silent scream, fills the room
it makes everything close in, it's such a waste
Black is too common. I don't like the way it rolls off the tongue
the colour in it's self leaves nothing to the imagination but the idea of nothing
Green is like being imersed totally in water, it creates a feeling of freedom
It makes you feel light, and silly almost.
Maroon, so ugly, so futile...so rancid and so unclean
Pink brings on the feeling of stupidity, it makes you stumble and mutter words
that make you look like you have the mental capacity of a four year old
....It all brings to mind that feeling on the back of your neck that makes you loose control of your thoughts for a split second

Am I just a stupid fool or did anybody else here think when they were younger and saw black & white photos that the world was black & white.

I did the same thing!

I actually asked my mother, whilst watching a home video of her in black and white one day-

"Mum, what was it like when the world was black and white?"

Strange though, I also thought the world had no sound...because the home videos were silent.

usually when i've been not quite myself

I dream in colour almost always, but I have dreamt in sepia colour tones.

i thought it was weirder to dream in colour...
but now i think about it more black and white is probably rarer

i dream in both, more colour ones though
and sorta no colour ones...like i don't remember wether they were or not..

but i think my sub concious doesnt like me, even in my dreams im anti-social and hmm yeah.....

On the topic of dreams, I have a question to ask of you all-

Does anyone else here experience taste, touch or smell in their dreams, aswell as sight and hearing?

I do, not very often taste, but touch and smell quite frequently.

It makes the dreams so much more realistic, almost as if they were reality....also, I wake up and say for example, I had been walking through a field, with a cool brease blowing....it's as if I'm still there for a few moments, just as I wake up.
I can feel the atmosphere of the place, breathe in the air...hmm, anyway, I'll stop rambling now.

in my most recent dream i was fighting off hordes of evil minians with two swords and a fiery torch on the back pagoda of my best friends previous house.

I woke up this morning (and this is true!!) from a dream where I was with hundreds of people and we were all doing the zorba!!

If anyone can enlighten me as to the meaning of this dream I'd be much appreciative! ;D
