You've obviously missed my point. In this case greenpeace are probably right. But as our friends at public enemy say: DON'T BELEIVE THE HYPE. Greenpeace are right into propaganda as much as any small facist state or motherf*Ker transnational. Work out for yourself what is fact or fiction. ;D

you have a point Di....now im confused on what opinion i should observe!! darn you even if they dont commit all those crimes you have to admit that the food is pretty much 'bugged' to make you want to eat more

by "bugged", I'd think you mean the high levels of sugar, salt and fat contained in their food products. These three substances are notoriously addictive, and I'd say more of a problem than nicotine.

A friend of a friend of a friend of mine, has a brother who went to work at McDonalds. On his first day, he had to lift this big crate down from a truck, or something like that. He had to do it by himslef, and the crate was too heavy for him alone, so when the people of the truck tried to pass it to him, he couldn't take the weight and fell back, the crate on top of him, and was paralysed...and he got $50 000 compensation. People slip over on a fucking public footpath and can bilk millions-this guy has to go through never being able to walk again for the rest of his life, and the costs of medical treatment, and his family remodelling their house so he can get aroudn now that he is confined to a wheelchair, and he only gets $50 000.

i think its because ppl who trip over a gutter and break a finger blame the council or something because they cant take responsilibity for their own actions.

one of my family friends got life compensation from australia post after he had to have a 10-month operation on his spinal cord. "evil" is what we called him coz he'd ride his bike on the wharfs - he cant ride anymore, sadly (he can still walk and stuff though)

you should read about some of the workers that get hurt at the meatpacking and processing factories that supple meat for all the fast food chains. it made me cry, it's just fucking disgusting - like the guy that smashed up both his hands, so they made him sign a waiver with his mouth so he couldn't sue the company. it's sick, absolutely fucking sick. they all deserve to burn it hell. and yes, mad cow disease spread primarily because cows are fed other cows, and chicken and pigs (not the meat, the spinal cords and blood and other leftover bits.) they knew it such practices could create problems, but did nothing, or really, too little, too late, to fix it, because of the protests from the processes and money from the fast food chains, because it lowers the cost of the patties by maybe a cent.

So Greenpeace are evil now Di? And how exactly does this help them when they are a non-profit organisation?
