well i eat maccas every now and then and i've never felt sick or anything like that...i think the risks are fairly similar for potential contamination with ANY fast food / restaurant food / take away meals you get really. the safest thing to do would be to all become vegans and to cook our meals all by ourselves with homwe-grown produce.
speaking of vegetarian food, has anyone ever been to govindas in sydney? yummo hari-krishna vego all-you-can-eat food located in the cross! and there's a mini-cinema with lounges, beds and comfy chairs where you can go after a meal to watch a fairly newly released flick.

ummm...not sure of the name...but when you see the coca-cola sign you turn into the cross (left i think) then you hang a right and it's somewhere on the left hand side....it's a pretty cool place! sorry if i haven't been specific enough! hope u find it ok! |

I'm not reading 4 pages so screw yas if someone already said it...
Cousin Marty works in the Innisfail meatworks and he said they do all the slaughtering for a number of McDonalds joints. So the cattle are no more mistreated than all the rest that go there. There is not crushed cow head in beef patties that you get from McDonalds and Hungry Jacks, its all 100% australian bull, Marty cuts it up himself...
We also asked the McDonalds manager here about the "pig's fat" in the ice-cream, and she said "don't be silly how would it get past australian food standards?" and they wouldn't be allowed to print those little things saying what's in everything if it wasn't true. Which all makes sense if you think about it...
