i believe that connelly girl has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor (Female) Oscar. I don't see anything wrong with using Actress. I wonder what their stand is on trans sexuals and gender changes......though i think Jack Lemmon and Terrance Stamp have both been nominated for Best Actor (Male) for roles they did in drag......and Hillary Swank vice versa ?
whatever.

It's all politically correct bullshit... I can understand some terms... but actress? What's next? The spelling of fiance or fiancee? Widow and widower? The entire French language with all the "le" and "la" stuff?
I liked the comment back on the Late Show (D-Gen)
"We've changed Walkman to Walkperson"
Hear hear.

One of the teachers at TAFE, who is German, said that the feminists (that's his words) in Germany rally for the exact thing feminists in Australia and US already have, and the ones in US and AU for what the ones in Germany have.
He mentioned it because I asked him why in the German language do items have 'genders'. Instead of just "the chair" it's "der chair" (masculine). They have 3 thes, die, das, der for feminine, nuetral and masculine. Apparently some women over there don't like it. or something.
Oh yeah, and everything has a gender in German. Regardless of what it is. And there's no way of telling what gender something is! This is the only thing about the language I find stupid, confusing and harder to learn.
After reading that 2nd paragraph again, it sounds like they are asking for what politically correct is, but that's what my teacher said anyway... maybe i didnt understand him right in his explaination (with the accent and all)
