fishy, there are some ringtones @ sfkforthenovice. i haven't heard them myself, but i'm sure they must sound remotely like sfk. there is captain, paintbrushes and something else i'm pretty sure. unless those are the ones you are talking about, then i have no idea.

Paintbrushes and the other song that were submitted by a fan dont work very well. He convinced me that they were right so i added them in the hope that someone else would manage to decode them cause i couldnt.

As for my dismal Captain attempt... after my fiance put it in his phone i heard it plays waaaay too slow, so if you want to fix it just change all the notes to eigths then you can have a faster tempo.

i'm sure this has been a thread before, hence not making it a new one, but it's sorta dissapointing (i know this sounds selfish) when bands you love and no one else knows become more well known, you sorta feel less special, hehe. people don't give you that puzzled look when you mention them anymore..
still it's fantastic for the band, yay!!  ;D

hehe, I know what you mean. Its sad when you don't get the puzzled look any more. But obviously SFK deserve the recognition. And I suppose a band's success is more important than fans getting funny looks when you talk about them. hehe, ah well.

I'm not sure whether i'm glad that are well known or not now that you've said that stuff. True, you felt special when you said "Oh well i like Something For Kate..." and they went "Okay, i have no idea who they are..." But then, now if you go into a CD store or the internet there is more about them, their albums are more easily found. AND i tend to feel all proud for SFK when i see someone pick up a single or an album and look at it for a while and then buy it. I liked them before they got really big (as big as they are at the moment) so i still feel like an 'original' fan. And that to me is the most important feeling....no one can take that from me, no matter how big they get....and i wish them all the fame they could possibley want. :heart:
