Hey all, new around here (obviously), but i thort i'd drop in and say hi. I just got home from the CD store after picking up my shiney new copy of the "say something" single, which might i add is very nice, and thankfully has the Dreamworld cover on it. (yes, i realise that it doesnt' come out 'til tommora, but for some weird reason it was in at sanity a day early). anyway, while i was around i thort i mite ask you guys if you could help me. at the moment i have every SFK CD that i can find (Elsewhere for 8 minutes, Beautiful Sharks, Echolalia, Q & A with Dean Martin, Monsters, Three Dimensions, Twenty Years and Say Something), but i can't seem to find any of the older singles and EP's anywhere.. i understand they must be hard to find, but can anyone point my in the right direction to track some of the others down (other than on mp3)? thanks all, hopefully i'll be around here a bit more often soonish... looks like a nice board.. -Matti

hey dude, welcome! well, ebay.com.au usually has some good stuff pop up, but its an auction site as u know so yeah. not many cd stores these days sell the pre 2000 stuff, unless theyre second hand. well, in brisbane they dont at least :/ mp3 wise, well audiogalaxy is ok for some of those easier to get b-sides etc. katy (http://www.geocities.com/sfkforthenovice/) & catfish (http://livefish.host.sk ) both have live gigs/LATW mp3s available on their sites, and ill be uploading some more b-sides at my site (http://www.chapel-street.net) i already have one, but thats only because i just completed the site. anyway, hope this helps!

thanks for the info. i dunno how you guys feel about mp3s, but my basic theory, is that i'll only get them if i have them on CD anyway, or if i can't find them on any CD anywhere else. if i'm just to lazy to get the CD i'd rather not download the song.. usually.. but since i've got all i can find at the moment, my SFK mp3 collection suddenly got rather healthy hehe www.poc-network.net/astralrealms/sfk.htm if there is some good songs that you reckon i am missing out on, let me know if ya can. -Matti

Hi matti, the LATW 2001 is a recommended download, it's a radio recording so you obviously cant get it on CD from the shops. The Corner Hotel Solo is worth getting too. Both of the sets are high quality (not like the dirty bootlegs of various artists you get off Morpheus).

i was quite impressed with the quality of the corner hotel mp3s, especially considering some of the crap ive heard. its a really good set too. tasty.
