good work glenny boy regards the vinyl - i've often wondered about that, it clears everything up now.....
its all about the music, which i guess is partly why the band is cool about mp3s and such....
so i'm in a pickle whether to bid on a vinyl on ebay cause its got a song i haven't heard before -
2. All The Things That Aren't Goof About Scientology
does this have Goofy on guest vocals?
so if the band rereleased a rarities package or something, would the old singles suddenly become a lot cheaper? Dean Martin and Answer to... cds still seem to go for decent amounts despite Q & A with Dean Martin still being fairly easily obtained....
the other thing is (this is what i told myself when i took an opportunity to get a vinyl copy of answer to...) is that its only money that i probably would of spent on beer anyway....

i guess i'm a culprit of feeding this viscious cycle of supply&demand........i have been using ebay WAY TOO MUCH to locate sfk things that i don't have......yes, i have all of their stuff in mp3 format, and have even converted them to CD format, but it's still not like having the real thing. I know it's ridiculous to spend fortunes of money i don't even have on things like the Dean Martin Single (i paid around $60 for it), but the bottom line is, i wanted it, and i was willing to pay what i had to in order to get it. I have no intentions whatsoever of selling/auctioning any of my sfk items, EVER, but i can see why some ppl would think that way....unethical business minded sods who don't even appreciate the heart-felt talent of sfk notice that fans WANT their deleted stuff and so do the buy/sell thing....i do feel bad, cos the band themselves don't profit from the ballooned prices of their deleted stuff, but like i said, i love sfk so much (they're my absolute fave band) that i'd pay anything to get all of their stuff. I guess i've always been like that.....fanatical...ever since i can remember...even my mum used to tell me off when i was younger for buying every pearl jam shirt that was ever made!
