now we've seen truly, ordinary world, genie in a bottle dreamworld & harpoon. now what should they do next? what sons would be good for sfk to cover?
firstly i think they should cover some sandpit songs for a promo maybe or something? The Stephanie Ashworth Cover Cd nah jokes. but i reckon they should cover a sandpit song as a tribute maybe, something like that?
lack of paul ( or everything but paul lol ) would be fairly funny, but i reckon Steph should do some solo work. it'd be cool to see solo work from clint but it'd be just drumming, and it'd get a little repetitious...anyhoo, Steph says she'll only sing if its nessecary. im surprised that its not her singing on the songs on echolalia, rather than the keyboardist. i think that she should sing on a b-side or album track, it'd be a mad experience for our ears.
finally....i think sfk should cover [glow=blue,2,300] land down under[/glow] by men at work. a great aussie song, and im sure theyd make it even better... thats my opinion at least 8)

They did a cover of REM "The one I love" at the Melbourne concert on the 26th..... and I'm sad to say that they probably got the biggest cheer for that ... maybe only bettered by Monsters, and even then only just.

Yeah, REM do certainly rock. During the Hobart show SFK played The One I Love and it lifted the roof. It was great. It was a shame I payed so much attention to the previous gigs/setlists as I already knew that they were occasionally playing this song. Ruined the suprise a little.
Back to the point, SFK should cover Ant Music by Adam & the Ants. Ant Music, whoa, whoa.

the strokes are nothing like SFK, but totally awesome. Another SFK cover I would love to hear - the Doors Riders of the storm

I'm thinking they should cover Pink Floyd. Not really sure why, it was just a thought that came to me.

brain damage or comfortabely numb would be good. not quite another brick in the wall, coz everyone wants to cover it. maybe wish you were here would be mad too?

yeah I was thinking more wish you were here than anything else. wasn't going for another brick in the wall. I thought of another band they could cover but I can't remember it.

my first thought on this topic was how amusing it would be for the band to cover something ultra mainstream pop like spice girls or britney spears... you know, get paul out there in the little sparkly tank tops and dance around like he has had a few too many... yet travis has already done a cover of britney. my next thought was for the group to do a cover of something of marylin manson... dont like the drugs, or beatiful people?? they could develop an image with that too... *thinks to self* i wonder what that would look like??nice look there paul!

Hey REGGIE, r u from tasmania too? As for a cool song for sfk to cover i would probably say comfortably numb by pink floyd. I think hearing steph sing would be cool.
