Howdie, thought I might start a thread on what gear (guitars, amps, pedals etc) people have or really want to own! Could be a good place for people to learn about different pieces of equipment or give you another bloody guitar to lust over! Here's what I have: '79 Gibson Les Paul "The Paul" Maton Mastersound MS2000 Maton EBG808 Ibanez Acoustic (cheap and nasty but sounds surprisingly good) Trace Elliot Speed Twin C100 Hotcake Overdrive pedal V Amp 2 What I want: Belman Albatross Grand Grubisa Merlin Reynolds Amp Gibson Les Paul gold top (p90's) Gretsch DuoJet Anyone else?

Have:
Cheap-ass Samick bass (sounds good through a decent amp, though) Sigma acoustic guitar (again, cheap, but sounds very very nice) Squier Affinity series Telecaster (are you detecting a pattern here? Actually sounded better than a lot of Fender Teles I played. The pricetag sounded a lot sweeter, too.) Crappy Samick 22W 'bass' amp (the smallest bit of bass makes it distort like a motherfucker, but sounds good with an electric guitar through it) Various nylon stringed classical guitars that i somehow aquired Dodgy strat knock-off that a friend left at my place
FX: none
Want:
Guitar:
Um... maybe something made by Gibson/Epiphone, like and SG or 335 or something (not much of a Les Paul fan, although Spinal Tap and The Darkness did make me want to throw out my Tele and buy a huge Marshall stack and a LP)
Amps:
Um... I played a very nice Fender Twin Reverb a while back. Nearly knocked off a bank around the corner so i could buy it.
Not sure about anything else. I'm not too clued up on amps
FX:
same as amps. Delay, tremolo, reverb, wah-wah, distortion, compression, phaser, flanger, pitch shifters, I really can't tell one brand from another. I( dont really use them anyway, but I'm willing to give something different a shot. Can anyone reccomend me some decent FX pedals to get me started?

Own: »Squier Strat'. I love the tone. »Monterey 3/4 sized acoustic with cutaway and pickup. »Peavey Rage 158 Amp. It's broken. »Korg Ampworks G - just about every effect known to man packed into one tiny unit. I highly recommend it to anyone looking at cheaply buying a range of effects (this means you, SPDC). Luckily it also lets me play my strat through my computer so I've been able to survive without a working amp. »DOD Distortion pedal. Want: »Fender Twin Reverb »Fender Jazzmaster »Gibson SG »Maton MS2000 »Anything by Jim Dyson.

Guitars: Gibson Lp Custom (Alpine White) Jim Dyson Tone Deluxe TV (Silver Sparkle) Ibanez CT Series (Anybody want?)
Amp: Vox AD 120VTX
Pedals: Boss DD5 Digital Delay Boss PH2 Phaser Boss TU2 tuner Boss Tr2 Tremelo Electro Harmonix Graphic Fuzz Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi Electro Harmonix Octave Multiplexor
Having just bought the vox, some of my pedals will be ebayed soon. If anybody is interested in them feel free to ask. Eventually I'd like one of Line 6's Modulation pedals but I can't really complain.
For anybody interested, I HIGHLY recommend the Vox AD 120VTX. You couldn't find a better 14 amps (not to mention acoustic guitar, guitar rack etc).

Matt, it's a great little amp - my friends were highly impressed by it, for such a little thing. Picked it up 2nd hand from cash converters for $150ish. Tube needs replacing though, cos there's this popping sound that comes about every once in a while (nothing major - just annoying if you hear it).
Got my Jim Dyson Tone Deluxe btw ;D (BEAUTIFUL!)

i picked up a new guitar today Fender Telecaster for $650 and a Cube 30 Watt Amp for $350. Originally $1600 together, sale price of $1200, my dad bargained them down. Sweet as.
