Happy birthday, if in fact is actually IS your birthday. But you need to remember to return things that are on lend to you. Namely blank writing books. . . It's sorely missed.

I actually was at a gig at ANU in Canberra two years ago during which he actually had his birthday - the clock struck 12 and he was still playing his acoustic set. Everyone sang him happy birthday. More importantly, that was the night I hooked back up with my ex-girlfriend (now wife).

(that was May 25 2002 guys, i remember because in the first few months of 2002 is when I became truly obsessed with sfk, and i really wanted to go to this gig... also, wasn't it with sealife park and bluebottle kiss too? damn that is one gig i would have loved to attended!)
Paul, thanks for giving me a new way to look at the world. Your lyrics are so inspiring, you are truly an amazing writer. Thanks for singing and playing with such passion, and putting your all into the music. And I don't know anything about music really, but I know I like what I hear when you play the guitar... Thanks for letting me have a picture with you at [V] 2003...
Thankyou.

hehe, i've met you several times before, but i'm sure you've met so many people now that every time i introduce myself it's new.. but, the one time that i really remember well, (and you might) .. was at livid. in brisbane.(of course!) i don't remember the year, sfk played mainstage sometime mid afternoon, but that evening, while you were on a rush to catch just a little of morrissey's set, i stopped you and said a few short words. shook your hand twice, and then gave you a hug. you looked kinda strange about it at first, but went with it. ... meh it's a grasp. a moment at least i will alway's remember. thank you for everybody you've helped through your music. dylan.

Thankyou for sharing your stories of having a hard time with depression. It has helped many people for someone as respected and loved as you to be so open and honest and hopefully the articles will open peoples' minds a bit as to the realities that depression can effect anyone and that things do get better.
