I've created it. Login at GmailUsername: sfkmp3share Password: somethingforkate Enjoy! The Rules are simply no singles, no more than 2 songs per album, and format of the subject line "Artist Name - Album Title - Track Name" to make it easier to look for songs. Enjoy!

Imma thread killer Just wanted to say I picked up the debut album from Jen Cloher & The Endless Sea today, and emailed a track from it. Folky, alternative. I personally think the album is brilliant, and they recorded it in 5 days...crazy. You guys may have heard another track from the album, 'Better off dancing', as it gets played heaps on jjj.

Has anyone tried the website www.pandora.com/It's a good idea. Enter the names of some bands u like (SFK, Powderfinger...) and it will create a playlist around the style / bands u have entered. It's a great concept and a good way to get exposure to bands that u might never have heard before.

I entered Riverside and it suggested Billy Corgan and Placebo. I don't think i'll be using that site ever again

Yeah, Pandora is great but only for people with open tastes. It looks at similarities in the music instead of looking what other fans like (which what a lot of other places use and is rather crappy). The "indie kids" other closed-minded individuals will say the service is crap when it points out their favourite band sounds like a band they hold a grudge against, but for the rest of us, it works pretty well. Also, it works "per song" so you might find a song that you like by an artist you think you don't like and mess with your mind. ps. I'm surpised sfk are on there now, they weren't before sfk - old pictures "features electric rock instrumentation, a subtle use of vocal harmony, mixed acoustic and electric instrumentation, mixed minor & major key tonality and electric rhythm guitars." unrelated to pandora, here's some neat acoustic tracks by The Hazelman Brothers www.mp3.com.au/artist.asp?id=18904Edit: The criticism wasn't directed at anyone here (I've never heard of Riverside infact). It's not AI (actual people analyse the tracks). It will point out the features of the track and you can verify these if you are inclined to. I went a bit overboard before, but I'm merely saying if you take it for what it is, it does a good job. It's made me question my taste in music on multple occasions and introduced me to music I wouldn't have heard otherwise, and for that it gets my thumbs up. (Their view on sfk is definately skewed though, since they've only got some of echolalia and tof)

I'm open minded. My point was there was no similarities in the music. apart from the fact it uses vocals, guitar, bass and drums. And I'm sure most people have enough common snese that AI is not needed to point that out to them.
