It's quite possible. We may actually be all Artificial Intelligence computer programs. I mean, you've never met any of us, so how do you know we're real? well, i've met you, so i know you exist. then again, i could be a computer program, so i could be lying too. scary..

But did you meet me? Was that really me? Are you really you? If our perspective on reality comes from our senses then what if our senses are being tricked into feeling and seeing something that isn't there? "Melanie" might not exist. She could be a figment of HeartSpark's imagination.

Mark you've either been digesting The Matrix too much or you've been philosophising with Plato.

The latter. The Matrix kinda stole my idea. It's an existentialist idea I've often pondered; what if the characters we create are real and we instead are the characters? I think it was Jung who said (paraphrasing from memory) an author's characters always contain an element of the author's personality, so what if we're looking at things backward and we don't know it? Does a goldfish know there's a world outside of its tank?

I know, it really does make you think - but if we were to find out, it really would take the life out of living. I can assure all you people, I am NOT an Astronaut, nor am I a real city.
On a totally semi-related note, an entire town is currently for sale on ebay if anyone is interested.

One close enough to Australia so every year Something For Kate can be invited there for a big concert.

Well New Zealand practically has no occupants and those that resist can be easily defeated. It's going for a bid of One Kilo.

New Zealand has 3.8 million people! I'm thinking something a little less populated.
