Deane I can be your freaky-nerdy friend...
Using big words and owning a telescope usually get you called a nerd/freak...
I am not a geek, computers anger me...and I am pathetic on them....meh.

I too had a C64 - my favourite games being Pitfall, Impossible Mission, Dragonriders of Porn, Might & Magic II, Sim City, Ghostbusters, and Spiderman.............
I sold it all about 9 years ago for a paltry $20, and I'm kicking myself now seeing what complete systems go for on ebay.

Finger painting is always fun ;D Buy a king size, white set of bed sheets and lots of paint! Put on some crappy clothes, invite some friends over ( usually the crazy ones ) and make a masterpiece and a mess ;D I love that idea ;D As for the Commodore 64, I had one of them (ahh the good old days) Giana Sisters rocked and Eagles nest and ohhh who could forget Wheel Of Fortune!

How could anyone sell their C64 that is pure evil! I think we have ours hiding away somewhere still. A couple of years ago we tried to set it up again but the stupid joystick wouldn't work We looked everywhere to buy a new joystick. But unfortunately we couldn't find one anywhere, not even in cash converters *sob*

As for the Commodore 64, I had one of them (ahh the good old days) Giana Sisters rocked I had that game! A complete rip off of Mario Brothers for which the makers of Giana Sisters were sued by Nintendo, but it was a good game. I love the intro music to it. But unfortunately we couldn't find one anywhere, not even in cash converters *sob* There's an easy solution to that. Get hold (from ebay perhaps) of an old Sega control pad, from either the master system or megadrive. It'll fit and work in the C64.
