Two minute noodles must always be cooked for three minutes....or else they are al dente *eww*
Beef is better, or chicken and corn....mmm

When it comes to noodles I like hokien noodles. You put some satay sauce in them, and yum.
If you want, you can put some beef and vegetables in to make it more of a meal.

first - before i forget, melon: if you're cooking 2 min noodles for 7 mins there's something wrong. are you makingthem transparent or something? i tip boilED water from the kettle over them into a bowl and it only takes about 2 mins for them to cook up nice. not al dante or whatever it is.
the BEST noodles you could buy were from Coles in their "overseas" section. They were Indonesian 2 min noodles called "Me Goreng". THey had like 5 sachets in them, with powders and oils and chili pastes and damn they were good, they were about 80c a packet but, but they were the best jerry, the best.
lukey had me goreng when he went to bali. they serve it in a banana leaf so guess what im doing at my next bbq?

lucky i don't boil the water in the kettle first. all this talk of 2 minute noodles prompted me to make some. and whilst doing so, i knocked the kettle over and spilt it all over me. then i forgot they were there and left them in the microwave for almost an hour. mushy noodles aint nice. :/

mm so you got some third degree burns because of my drunken posts... you think that will make me feel bad?
correct me if i'm wrong, or if microwaves work differently in the non-state NT, but dont you have to tell them HOW LONG you want them to cook for? you mustve told it to cook for 1 hour?
now what else did people say, oh yes, getting drunk at my own pbbq? i a meant to be the host! how can you get drunk and be the host? its like, being the.... captain of a ship and...... i dunno, eating airline food.
that makes no sense and eve ni kow it,.

rummy dear, i send lucky i didn't boil the kettle. that means the water was lukewarm. no burns at all.
and, i set the microwave for 7 minutes then forgot about them, so they were left soaking in their own juices for an hour. that makes them mushy.

Hey, airline food isn't too bad these days. In January, when I went to Melbourne, on the flight to Melbourne in the morning we had a nice breakfast with muffin, cereal, juice, fruit, and toast. Then on the flight back to Sydney we had a nice roast dinner with a salad, bread, drinks, pasta, and chocolate. Damn, I want to go on a plane again just for the food. Times have changed.
