Deane's comment about him looking like an extra from the planet of apes is equally funny and sad. It's funny because it's true, and it's sad because it's true.
Re: him being a paedophile -> that was never proven. So technically he's not a paedophile. The kid and his parents were obviously after his money. After all if the kid really had been sexually abused, you would think they would be after justice and want to see Michael Jackson go to jail. That they took the money and ran makes their allegation seem weak (fair enough it makes Michael Jackson's claim of innocence seem weak too, but if it's about innocent before proven guilty, then the onus is on the accusers and not the accused to prove their claim, and they didn't).

just going back to what katy said "He could have been one of those great role models like Oprah Winfrey and crap. " He still is a great role model, we are told not to judge people by their colour of skin and i'm not. He had an issue with his skin thats fine, but i will not judge him for it.... He is my role model, look at all the great things he has done for this world...He makes so many people smile when they watch him dance or sing. I dont know him and im not going to pretend i do but from what i have seen so far, i think its pretty obvious hes a good person I'm not judging him by the real, or fake colour of his skin. I just think if you were you were black and growing up and you saw your idol Michael Jackson torture his body so he could be white you would be really mad or feel like crap. I referred to Oprah because she is proud of her heritage - Michael virtually spat on it. |

Michael's Jackson's skin disease is called Vitiligo. It's a real disease, I've known two people in my life with it, one an old indian woman who literally had black and white skin, and the second an anglo girl from my badminton club many years ago. She had cool pink and white skin. Jackson probably does have it, but he probably bleechs his skin as well to make it all white. The people I knew with vitiligo only had white patches over their body, but they weren't completely pale white and had patches of normal skin too. On one of the documentaries shown on tv this week about Jackson, an interesting question was asked, that if he really does have vitiligo, why is he bleeching his skin white instead of brown?
