on my saturday trip to the local shopping centre i happened to stroll into what you call a cd store. because im a computer geek i rarely do this anyway, prior to pre-ording this dvd by a band (something for kate, you may have heard of them) i was looking through the blur section, and right above them was 'bluebottle kiss'. i had heard hasten the blows off a rolling stone cd and liked it, and thought, hell, i got $100 yesterday, might as well use it. so i bought it and dont regret it. so yes, thats my life story umm anyways, has anyone else got/heard this cd?? i love it, but theres like nothing bluebottle kiss related on ebay, so any directions for a misguided geek? btw if anyone cares i like 'hello stranger', 'gansterland', 'hitchhiking in new zealand' and 'fathers hand' cheers deane.....

bluebottle kiss is a band i've always meant to check out, but never have. Everytime i see Revenge is Slow in the shops, i'm always like "i'll buy that next time i'm here".. Did they support SFK at all recently?
If i do buy it and it sucks Deane, i'm holding you personally responsible.

Did they support SFK at all recently? Well they supported Paul in his semi-recent solo show (in Sydney). I thought they weren't too bad.

I didn't get into them much when they supported Paul. It's a shame Deane, they were selling heaps of their Cd's at the show really cheap. A lot are meant to be hard to get hold of. My best friend is a huge fan and he bought some ultra rare eps off redeye. I doubt you will find anything on Ebay, i don't think they are that big yet.

I've heard 'Hopeless Blueless' which I thought was quite good. If anyone here hasn't heard any of their stuff, check out- www.bluebottlekiss.com and you can download some songs. Anyway, I'm off for another day of school..... -Collette

yeahi heard them when they supported paul in sydney they're pretty good, i have 'revenge is slow' cd. at the show they were ok...went a bit crazy at the end.. jamie hutchens (you may know him from such things as scared of horses )jumped on his guitar.... talking about going crazy i was at uni today watching a band at lunch time...can't remember the name but neil finn's son is the lead singer at the end they were throwing themselves off the stage with their guitars and lying on top of each other (still playing) was quite a spectical.

I borrowed Fear of Girls out from Orange Library, and I'm a bit shitty at not disoovering the band earlier. They rock.
Does anyone else like "Tapdancing on the Titanic"?
