So I hear that Homebake is on December 7 and tix go on sale September 13 but....the homebake site is not as yet functional....Anyone know any info? bands and price and such? Thanx a bunch and a bit  |

The first round of bands to play @ Homebake this year have been announced with Alex Lloyd and Radio Birdman headlining the gig. Other bands include, Grinspoon, You Am I, Machine Gun Fellatio, Pacifier, Sonic Animation, Kasey Chambers, Jebediah, George, 1200 Techniques, Paul Dempsey, The Sleepy Jackson, Rocket Science, Superheist, Eskimo Joe and more. Homebake will be @ The Domain, Sydney City on Sat 7 Dec. Tix on sale Fri 13 Sept.

so Dempsey is playing solo? I'm not sure if the Homebake vibe is the best place to be doing that, particularly after the success of Echolalia.....

I read in Sunday's paper here that there'll be a new 5th stage on which Paul Dempsey will be playing. So I guess that means he'll playing on it all day. Whew. He's going to get tired!
