The Hollywood Reporter reports a big one today...the very memorable TV show "MacGyver" will be making its way to the big-screen. Series creator Lee Zlotoff has landed a deal with New Line Cinema to write, direct and produce a feature film based on the ABC series.
It is believed that Richard Dean Anderson would return to the film but only in a cameo role. The trade hints that a younger actor is being sought to play the highly skilled agent who had an uncanny ability to form to coolest weapons out of ordinary objects.

But then again this is the same woman who happens to think that Meatloaf is the bee's knees...
