I looked at my mail yesterday and I had 78 ad things from a uni, a weight loss place, an investments thing and porn.
I never get any real mail. Some people send me forwards, I hate those people. Forwards are a pain full stop.

Tell me about it Forwards are so lame. I guess it's cause of the site but people i don't know add me to their address book [which is cool] but they must just click 'send to all' or something cause i get all these forwards from people, and bulk messages saying 'bye I'm going away' etc from people i have never heard of !

Oooohh, but if you turn on the Junk Mail filter, turn it to high, add the mailing lists your on to a safe list, and block any spam that still gets through, it works fine

Mine likes to fill up with spam from many evil companies, and then cause the mailbox is full, it rejects all the mail from friends and people i actually want to recieve mail from. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Hotmail who sold our email addresses.

I think that did happen. Some internal Microsoft employee made some money by selling hotmail addresses to advertisers. He got fired for it.

i have barely any spam problems, thanks god, the main thing filling my inbox is the sfk mailing list. jesus, some people send pointless crap to the list - one word responses, and totally irrelevant things, stuff about pearl jam, it's never-ending. i just want to hear about sfk for christs sake.

It would be nice if the forums let you know someone had replied to your posting once. Instead if I go away a few days, I've got 30 messages from SFKforthenovice telling me there is a response to Word Game.
Couple that in with the spam I get every fucking day, and I can barely muster the enthusiasm to send e-mail anymore.
Whinge Whinge Whinge. Feel better now.
