if you have to move to melb, july is the best time to enjoy the full masochistic weather experience. May as well go cold turkey Is the flashing cube still the most exciting thing in canberra?

guess you do enjoy extremes parkville is pretty good - central to everything! Importantly it is short staggering distance to the key parts Melb (pubs, clubs, speakeasys etc...), St Kilda is a bit of a longer stagger but you get that on the big jobs... But Darwin's weather is soo very loverly!!!

Yeah for the northeastern suburbs!! Which one is yours Mr eddievedder? Sparky - stay away from preston (see my mail) - bad news Luceluna: you know the cube - it's near the centre of the city - if you make a noise it starts flashing (i don't think i was taking too many chemicals the last time i was in canberra )

steering things back to (the even more fascinating topic of) canberra, i was reskimming this thread and saw your reply to my reply, DG: i have vague impressions of this cube you speak of, but nothing concrete. maybe i'm not taking enough chemicals? i think the most exciting thing about canberra is the fact that if you buy a bus ticket you can get on as many different buses as you like for an hour afterwards, and NOT PAY!! woohoo! roadtrips around Canberra's suburbs for $1.20!!
