It turned out that one of my tutors at Uni had been very good friends with BBK back in the mid-nineties. She also, very, very kindly, lent me her copy of Sonic Elevator Music for the Masses, Bluebottle Kiss' first demo release. So I copied them onto my computer as mp3s. The tracks are:
1. Paean for Sandpaper Mouth. 2. One Way Ticket to Antarctica. 3. Crush. 4. Lost Weekend. 5. 2 Geeks.
The first three were eventually released on Higher Up The Firetrails, though these are different recordings (though there are no tremendous differences, apart from the sound quality).
2 Geeks eventually appeared as a B Side, but Lost Weekend, to th best of my knowledge, only exists on this tape. Needless to say, I was quite interested to hear it.
Anyway, I say all this because if anyone would like it sent to them as mp3s, just let me know, and I would be more than happy to.

Thanks Yabba : )
I've also got a song called "Brother You Were Built For Speed" by Jamie Hutchings that was released on a compilation 7 inch vinyl called 2 Minute Noodles, which i'm going to try to record to my computer some time soon, so i'll let you know when thats done (unless you have it already).
I've been yearning for the full sets of Live at the Wireless that BBK have done over the years. I bought Double Yellow Tarred off a lady who said she'd copy them to disc from cassette and send them to me, but i havn't heard from her again in 3 years or so..
At the moment to the best of my knowledge i'm missing Tapdancing on the Titanic, and for some reason the Ounce of your Cruelty single, which i know i've seen many times but never bought.. Oh, and also their cover of Silver by the Pixies thats on the "Pixies Fuckin' Die!" compilation.
But i'd be mighty interested in anything that isn't easy to come by : )

I'd never even heard of Brother You Were Built For Speed until now. I don't have the full LATW sets, but I do have mp3s of tap dancing on the titanic EP and the ounce of your cruelty single. Also I have Jamie doing a cover of Hounds Of Love on his own on FBi last year, Bruno from Peabody doing Silent, Golden and Everything Begins And Ends, Jamie + Ben Grounds doing Black Birds acoustic on JJJ last year, and finally I have a live version of Homeless Blueless I ripped the audio from the annandales DVD
also I have a average quality recording I made when i connected my line out to my line in on my sound card and pressed record while playing the video of Tap Dancing thats on youtube, haha. let me know if you want any of that
