Anyone know what Spiderbait song goes "Come on, come on, I'm back to where I came from" ? It's off the Wally Funk (Punk) (?) album. I've forgotten the album name now. I've been fucking looking for this song name ALL NIGHT and not one FUCKING website has its name from what i can find.

if they made a spiderbait greatest hits cd, it'd be one of the greatest australian rock 'n roll albums ever.

it's definitely "Four on the Floor". Spiderbait have (to their credit) maintained the quality in all of their releases. I honestly enjoy listening to something newer like "Four On the Floor" as much as I like "Jesus".....

yeah, i like to think of spiderbait and regurgitator as in the same kind of boat, their music has changed throughout the years but it's still *good* music. (well i didn't really like t-wrecks...) Did anyone remember that Happyland cd...the one where Janet from Spiderbait and Quan from gurge made a few songs together? Weird stuff, but funny Does anyone know if they're still going out?

that is absolute fucking crap. Monty sounds nothing like Plastic. Jesus sounds nothing like Hot Water & Milk. Buy me a Pony sounds nothing like Arse Huggin' Pants.
Don't make me hurt you.

I know a lot of you disagree with me on this point. After being one of their biggest detractors with Frogstomp and Freak Show, I was pleasantly suprised to see the mature direction that Neon Ballroom and Diorama took them.
They're worth every penny of their rumoured multi-million dollar incomes.

*nod* I agree. They're trying to do something different musically. They can't always do the same thing, which is what I think when people slag off Something for Kate for not being "heavy" anymore. Bleah. 'Prick' is good, and 'Stunt Show' is good too. Deal.

theres a point in that.... but although some bands may be trying to do something crative and pushing in new musical directions, it doesn't always work all too well... and ego just makes it seem worse. i just really don't like people like daniel johns and billy corgan who just think they are the most creative musiscians out there... when in fact they are just doing simplistic pop rock.... whether it is good or not is just down to opinion... it not my liking though....
if you want a good example of changing musical direction for creativity and not giving a shit about the media's opinion, look no further than days of the new
