I read about it in the paper and was surprised the family were suing the other chatters as it sounded like they did all they could and i figured they just wanted to blame someone.

I just read the full chat log [the link is on the page Justin posted] and i would have to say that some of them surely fucked him. Mainly 'smoke' or whatever his name was. That dick was egging him on the whole time [not a crime] but they shouldn't have trusted him to get on the phone with him. I doubt he rung him to help him at all, but rather to take advantage of his drug induced state. The first thing he could of done after ringing was get his address, and then try and make him dance and all that stupid stuff but he didnt. And then when everything was looking to go pear shaped he fucked off. By then Brandon wouldn't have been able to type his address even if he had of wanted to.

And i do not think it's fair to say he died merely because he was a fucking idiot. He probably wasn't very aware of what he was doing as he continually kept taking even more drugs because he was so screwed up from the first lot.

At first, i also figured no one believed him [everyone talks everything up in anonymous chat rooms] but i was mortified to hear that they had actually watched him on a webcam and knew that it was not a stunt!

I don't know what kind of family they had either because if it was my mother she would have been in and out bothering me all night if she was up. It's strange she didn't even go in and say goodnight to him, maybe that would have saved his life.

I've been the furthest thing from an angel in my past in relation to drugs, but having been dragged through the misery and shit that is inherent in its culture - I could never ever advocate anyone using anything stronger than a couple of drinks recreationally - and yes hopheads, this includes pot - possibly the fucking worse drug of all.

He must have just trusted too highly in his youthful 'immortality'. They had done Whois Searches on his domain, and posted his address in the chatroom, and he had even described the cars in the drive way. He knew he was on webcam so probably thought he was safe because if anything went wrong they would see him and call the police because they had his details. Too bad they thought the address was fake, and too bad they were fuckwits. From what they were saying it seemed like he often bragged about how many drugs he took and they told him he was lying [knowing that much would kill him i guess] so he was trying to prove 'he was hardcore'.

Maybe it was a cry for help? Who knows but it was a stupid thing to do in the first place.

If he didnt take the drugs he wouldnt have died.......he is responsible for his own actions

obviously - i didn't say he wasn't. i think the guy had massive problems to do what he did but my point is that if you were in that channel watching him do it, you wouldn't egg him on when you can visibly see him chucking back the pills.

That's right. It's like if a suicide patient comes into emergency and the nurse doesn't do her job properly and doesn't give him some form of help that she is meant to and he dies as a result. It's like saying oh well it wouldn't have happened if he didn't commit suicide, but really he MAY have had a better chance if those involved were a little more responsible. Chances are he probably would have died anyway after what he took, but they could have done a lot more to give him a better chance of living.

I know! There is a website set up for him like a kinda memorial and when i saw the pic on there i was pretty shocked. I must admit though, he does look a little more strange in the horrid pictures Sharky posted.
