I was never a huge fan after the first series, but loved the repeats that were on during the day. Nice to know Channel 10 advertised the new series - I had no idea. I googled it after I read your post Katy and found two huge news articles about it's return. Stupid Adelaide Advertiser, doesn't report on the important stuff like tv shows  Did I just say that?  |

I thought they axed it? I know they stopped it mid-season though, so are they just showing the rest of the season, or is it still going or what?

I remember seeing the first episode of the last season and it was a bunch of new people going at it like rabbits. Yay for Brooke Harman though.

The 'new' season is stupid, anyway. I miss Tidy (I LOVE YOU!) and Gab and everyone. It's completely different writing and focuses on bullshit stuff -- like that thing with the cat, come on.  Which one is Brooke Harman? |

I also didn't like it when it was on TV originally ... I just started getting hooked on the day time reruns TEN was playing recently. I was surprised because I also heard it was axed. It is a brand new series (not repeats). The ad says it's on at 'the adults only time' of 10.30pm Thursdays. So one can assume lots of sex and nudity in the hope of bringing up the ratings again Hopefully they actually bother to write good stories as well ... It's hasn't been advertised at all. The one ad I saw was on last night about 12pm ... |

So did it get axed or not? Sounds strange if it did, because I remember a couple of years ago all the actors in it were winning logies and shiznit, so I assumed it must've been a popular show.

It seems it was axed, and that this isn't in fact a new series but 'new' in the sense that it hasn't been seen by most of us as it was taken off. GAH you didn't read the whole message.
The show used to be on like a YEAR ago, and I and a few others were wondering if it was axed ... cancelled or if it was just on hiatus for a little longer than usual BEFORE returning last night.
I was trying to figure out if it is indeed a new series (which is unlikely if it was cancelled) or if it is just the last series which wouldn't have been viewed (which is very likely if it was cancelled.)
