i cant believe there arent more people commenting on last night's gig! the vast majority of tracks either old skool or brand new skool! note- only 1 track off TOF and 2 off echolalia
from memory and certainly not in order or complete!, transparanoia hawaiian robots prick rockwell (paul "we havent played this one since i last had a haircut!") soundczech born to run (springsteen cover!!) the killing moon like bankrobbers down the garden path big screen tv electricity deja vu monsters cigs and suitcases back to you (piano) you only hide (piano) the astronaut and couple more awesome sounding new tracks
i dunno if there were anymore? 2 full hours of sfk getting back to basics and rocking out. and they have never sounded better!
wow- bob i just d/loaded your track- great sounding boot my friend! dont go all shy on us... are you intending on uploading more of the gig? who else went? bring on the prince next week!

I hope they'll play as long as two days ago ... But the Melbournites have always been luckier than the other people living elsewhere ... i'm just crossing the fingers right now... about the bootleg, i'm really looking forward to getting the rest as the sound is really nice... hope mine of tonight will be quite as good as yours.... laters, -david-

For that gig i was running a pair of at853 mics into a homemade three wire battery box into a err...recorder that i'd rather not mention in public...

okay, so apparently ... if you give a look to the setlist that has been posted on another thread somewhere ... actually, there sfkforthenovice.proboards1.com/index.cgi?board=1&action=display&n=1&thread=3382"Slip away from the real world" is called "Oh Kamikaze" (the old name of this song - at the time yet to be titled correctly - was E.B.) ... That's what i was afraid of ... i thought i haven't heard a new song yet!! and then, "A beautiful life" is actually titled "California"here it goes, hope this helps see ya, -david-
