My father was born in England. He moved out to Australia as a child. My mothers side are mainly Scotish, but further back there is some Irish.... so that makes me...English, Scotish and Irish...yeah!

In high school it was strange, i was one of very few anglo-saxons at my school. Everyone was either Italian, Greek, Spanish, Phillipino, Indonesian, or Aboriginal. It was more strange because those that were anglo-saxon tried to pretend that they weren't, and desperately tried to make sure they were a 'wog' and not a 'skip'.

both my parents were born in australia, not sure about my grandparents, i think they were born here. somewhere along the line, anyway, i have ancestors that were from germany and england. actually, i'm related to sir matthew flinders, so we probably came over on the first fleet - and not as convicts. ha.

My parents and grandparents were born here. My Mum's side has some Scotish and Aboriginal down the line. And my Dad's side has Irish down the line. I'm the aussiest looking thing, ever.

when i was little, when we were asked what nationality we were, all the kids would go "im scottish/german/italian/french/dutch/" etc... you know? a whole bunch of stuff.
and i just said "im english". point blank. that was cool.
most of the people in this town are German. its funny.
