Yesterday I had my ethics for lunch. They were rather tasty, succulent and flavoursome, and I'm astonished at my own reluctance to have walked down this path before.
I've found that a life spent accumulating values, personal ethos, moral codes and the like is not necessarily one wasted. While I am certainly a graduate and promoter of the "If it fucking feels good, do it" school of thought, having a range of ideologies and drawn lines in the sand to chow down on is like finding a smorgasbord and a cheap hooker when you are pissed. I've been able to draw such sustenance from trashing and pissing all over things that I once found important. My parole officer would chide me and certainly draw offense from this conclusion, but there is nothing like turning your back on things that you believe in. Personal Satisfaction comes from being fickle, rather than holding steadfast grasps on your thoughts and feelings.
No matter how little credibility or self esteem you have remaining, remember this: you can still sell it. So, everyone along with me - let us all embrace hypocrisy, untruth, and tawdriness. But most of all……………..that fat fuck Alex Lloyd.
Oh – for those looking for a deeper meaning in this post: Fuck Off. You should all know by now how shallow I am!
