345 days ago I joined this forum.... I've never been able to look at Something For Kate quite the same again. It's been a weird and wonderful journey of 360 odd posts, a pretty poor effort yes, but it's the best i could do, for those that have just joined us, or those who just want to look back - here's a look at my contribution to the discussions round here:

My first ever post: August 2001 - "This is one way cool forum Mine would have to be the opening seconds of stuntshow...Love that song..."
About Me
June 2002 - "love stories always make me cry"
October 2001 - "i think i'm gonna go to a pet store and buy a pet mouse and call him jerry. If they dont have any mice, i'll buy a dog and pretend he's a mouse....."
November 2001 - "i think i might be a part of the problem, cause i sure as aint part of the solution...and if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem...i'll try to stay on topic from now on. "
Feb 2002 - "i've always felt haikus a very limiting form of expression - i much prefer interpretive dance...."
November 2001 - "yeah, i really couldn't see how anybody could find this little place scary....you guys are about us scary as little puppy dogs. Then again, those dogs still can bite pretty hard..."
Words of Wisdom
Feb 2002 - "naked mud wrestling.... how can three words bring so much joy?"
Feb 2002 - "twisties are good, but they're not as good as cheesels, cause you cant wear twisties on your fingers...."
March 2002 - "After going out on a hot date, when i take my lady home, i like to ask her back to my room for some hot, hot......Diabetic pumpkin pie"
May 2002 - "So let us all bask in the magestic sound and beauty of the tuba. Is there a more heavenly instrument?"
June 2002 - "as i've said before, they own the pancake parlour.. what more do you want in a religion?"
Knowledge of the music Industry
November 2001 - “but we have to keep bob the builder. Bob the builder and the hampster dance have a place in the australian music industry!"
November 2001 – On Powderfinger "i think they'd have a fair chance at cracking it over there. Long drawn out power ballads seem to be an in thing, and that's what the finger are doing at the moment, and with the quality set of material they have, we could have another INXS on our hands.." FWIW Odyssey Number Five got given 1 and a half stars in a prominent American Music magazine.
Eddie Vedder listed some rumors for the Big Day Out: "Faithless, Tool, QOTSA, Foo Fighters, Jamirqaou, The Strokes." None of these bands made the performed
Jan 2002 - "And for those of you who wanted happy endings, bah, I for one are very much happy with say something - i love the guitar in that song, you know, the bit that goes de ne noo ne noo ne noo ne noo ne noo nah nah nah neh neh noo. "
“TAB” my contribution to the Tab writers forum
Ideas for the Band….
Jan 2002 - "i think something for kate should release a low fat, non stick grill ala George Foreman. You'll never have to cook your meats in a pool of grease again. The run-off grease would be carried off into a separate tray by the patented grooves on the Something For Kate Grill. You'll have to try it to believe it! You could cook cheeseburgers, a piece of steak or you may grill vegetables along side your shredded beef for tacos. The possibilities are are endless."
Some Shirt Ideas: "something for kate: sex, drugs & rock and roll (credit)", "vote peanut people"
On Paul Dempsey
Feb 2002 - "i dunno dirt girl, with a nickname like huggybear his street cred's gonna go way down - no chillin' with no homeboys, rappers and or rhymers for paul...on the other hand "huggy bear" would make a wicked name for a gangsta pimp daddy.... "
On Stephanie Ashworth
November 2001- "to the classical trained ear it is obvious a clear message is being sent. "eddievedder from the say something board, you are such a sex god" is how i interpret the message. Other "experts" in the field have seen some variables, but most follow the same line of stephanie expressing her unconditional love and devotion to yours truly. "
December 2001 - "is anyone thinking about steph here? the poor girl would be all alone. Someone would have to keep her company - i guess that someone would have to be me."
May 2002 - "Nicotine, valium, vicadin, marijuana, ecstasy, and alcohol - feel good hit of the.....winter? i would of taken my camera to the solo shows, but there was no steph on stage"
Feb 2002 - "well if steph's feeling a little lonley, i'll be very much happy to keep her company, she can come back to my place and we can.........talk "
April 2002 - "and woman - cant forget steph here... "
March 2002 - "nah i think you're onto something with Steph...she'll come out with her bass ready to play some songs, introduce herself, introduce the song, then get sidetracked and start to talk about some issue that concerns her, and she'd, and talk, and talk, and talk, then run out of time to play anything."
On Clint
“How can I mention Clint in this post?”<br>

A Random Conversation from the Archives:
Nov 7th, 2001,
Spongeboy - How about "if you want to get with heartspark, just say you're paul" EddieVedder- you're paul
Astronaut - lol. no eddie, he meant you have to say your paul i'm paul - what'll happen eh?? heartspark - woohaa, ive never had so many guys trying to get with me in such a short time though this guy just random messaged me through icq saying: 121699050(20:37 PM) : Hello I'm 18 from the central coast. Would you like some photos of my penis? =)
i must say, i found that, err, interesting to say the least. i give him credit for originality though
spongeboy - hmmmm....maybe i should rephrase that t-shirt phrase - if you don't want to get with heartspark, send her pictures of your p*nis
Spongeboy - on another note, i'm seriously considering wearing a tee with one of these delightful slogans to the humble homebake festivale. Homemade home bake shirts always go down well with the crowd....if i'm lucky i can get paul to sign the heart...and steph and clint on each sleeve. Heartspark - oh no, dont get me wrong, i wouldnt mind photos of penises... err. forget i said that. that would be awesome. i hope you get it signed too!!
eddievedder -what? the shirt or the penis? heartspark - err, both? spongeboy - I thinking Paul gets the pee pee, and Steph and Clint a teste each.
Astronaut - this is getting sus...

Top work Ed I'd be scared to have a retrospective on some of my more illustrious musings on all manner of extremely amusing topics that this forum has sprouted!! Not least of all because it would be the evidence needed to finally get me into that padded cell they keep talking about...the voices that is! (lol)

That's okay. I'm content waiting for the Dirt Girl tell all autobiography. When exactly is that hitting the shelves?
