Vicki: "I feel like I'm on some crappy show like Melrose place, and I'm the new character, I'm the AIDS character, and I teach everyone thats "It's OK to be near me, it's OK to talk to me..."and then I die. And theres everyone at my funeral wearing halternecks!"
Austin Powers:
(when they Austin comes out of the toilet cubicle, and the cowboy guy sees a man drowned in the toilet) Cowboy: "Christ man...what did you eat?!"
Austin: "Shut your cake-hole, baldy!"
Austin: "Vanessa, stop worrying about that Italian bird! She's the town bicycle! Everyones had a ride!"
Scott Evil: "I really think he really wants to kill me!" Counsellor: "Now scott, no one wants to kill anyone. We may say we do sometimes, but deep down, it's not true..." Dr Evil: "No, the boy is really quite astute, I am in fact, trying to kill him."
Vanessa: "Did you use a condom?" Austin: "No! Only sailors use condoms, baby." Vanessa: "Not in the 90s!" Austin: "Well, they should those filthy beggars, they go from port to port."
Waynes World-

Is Signs any good? I liked the Sixth Sense, and I LOVED Unbreakable - being a comic book geek.

its really good! scary, funny, dramatic!
but if you critizise the story line i wont really object, in some ways it was good. i think just the filming of it is supreme

yeah, i heard he was a truck-driver or something similar. i'm going to see it today, so i'll let you know what i though, since, well, my opinion is the supreme in opinions. though i've heard some talk of it being a bit... shite. guess we'll see, ay.

I liked it. If you liked the suspenseful creepy atmosphere of the Sixth Sense and Unbreakable than you should like Signs. I think its main focus is with the subtext about faith, hope, and fate. It's a good movie. Go see it.

Have you people seen that movie Stir of echoes, it's similar sort of movie in the sense that you don't know what the hell is happening to the end. Evolution: "I think we have established that Ga-Gaw Ga-Gaw and tooki tooki do not work." Priscilla, Queen of the desert: "A cock in a frock on a rock, just what Australia needs!" The Castle: when the solicitor is asked what part of the constitution is in breach "Oh, it's just the vibes" Any line in that movie where Steven curry says something then his dad repeats it, like: "Dad says Steve (I think) is an ideas man" "Steve! You're an ideas man!" Or, "How much does he want for it?...tell him he's dreamin!" OR! "What's this?" "Ice cream" "Yeah but what have ya done with it!*excitement*" "Scooped it out of the punnet" Ok, I'm done

Okay, the ending wasn't a surprise twist like 6th sense true. It was about how Mel Gibson's character had lost his faith when his wife died. He'd lost his belief that there was a reason for things happening. The "signs" in his cornfield were more than a literal sign. They were a sign for him to find his faith again. When the alien tried to poison his son, his son couldn't breathe in the poison because he had asthma. Hence there was a reason he had asthma and it wasn't just bad luck.
It's like the SFK line again:
just assume that there is good reason for everything...
