Hey everyone, If any of you visit my deviantART page you may know about this already, but I'll share for those of you who don't. A friend of mine has just started a new online photography gallery specifically for minimalistic photography. It showcases works of extreme quality from a number of different photographers on deviantART. I've joined in on the inititave and am hopeful that this place will become quite popular very quickly. So if you're interested in simplicity, photographs with strong design elements, strong yet stripped down compositions or simply vibrant abstracts - then I highly recommend checking this site out! For those familiar with dA, here's the link for their main page - minimalism.deviantart.comFor those unfamiliar with dA, here's a direct link to the gallery - minimalism.deviantart.com/gallery/ Click a photo to see the larger version and read the description.... Anyway, I just thought I'd share this as I know a few of you are interested in art and photography. Hope you like, Collette

those are some beautiful pieces of work.i used to talk to my art teacher about minimalist works and i was just wondering how you get into this sort of stuff.i dont like to specialise but it is something i am interested in.there is just something about it.theres so much room for interpretation....but i feel i dont know enough about its history to really enjoy it.i dunno. if you could recommend anything else to read or look up it would be much appreciated. thanks
