well, back of book reads like this: "Case is hired to steal data from one of the almighty megacorps. Riding shotgun is Molly, a wired-up samurai. They venture deep into the Matrix, amoungst the gangsters of the sprawl, only to confront the neuromancer, who is playing a game far deadlier than their own" and yes i agree it's hard to understand unless you have some idea of what the book's about or have actually read it. really it's sort of a virtual reality in the future thing. Case (main character)is like a hacker and can go into the virtual world of computers and travel in the Matrix. he has to plug himsef in to do this and if get's into a problem while he's in there, his body can die and he's stuck. He also comes across 'ice' which is sorta like security the computers have and he has to hack through it to get the information he needs. the reason he was hired was becasue he has a chemical in his body that will eventually kill him and can only get the antedote if he completes the task. neuromancer is an artificail intelligence computer thing btw, only alive in the matrix. neuromancer can also make you think things while in the matrix, he makes case believe he's on a deserted island amoungst other things. Molly is a sort of love-interest who has to do the physical stuff for the megacorp, while case does the virtual stuff. anyhow i like it because it's exciting and different, and i like the way william gibson writes in this book. very good imagery. yes. i admit. i'm a nerd

I'm an avid fan of bathtime books - y'know, the ones that float. I spend most of my free time having kerosene baths, and it helps me to relax despite the continuing burning sensation.

If your into Sci Fi louie you should defintely get into an author called Kim Stanley Robertson. I strongly recommend the "Mars" triology. In my humble opinion the best Sci Fi I've ever read! ;D

or if you have a poor level of literacy, and are emotionally mature, "Danny: Champion of the World" by Roald Dahl should be a good read.

I think most males would be adverse to having anything to do with a "giant peach"

My favourite is probably Nick Cave's "and the ass saw the angel".

I think no more proof is needed that Nicky is in fact Satan, the Dark Lord.

No, JC would be someone a little bit more effeminate. Like one of those Radiohead bogans.

You asked for it... you have gotten me started on books... thanks alot! I don't have ONE specific favourite book... I could NEVER pick just ONE! They all have their good and bad sides... Tomorrow When The War Began series, Letters From The Inside, Winter - John Marsden Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit - J.R.R Tolkein The Power Of One (currently in reading) - Bryce Courtney To Kill A Mockingbird - Harper Lee I Am David - I can't remember the author (I read it FOUR years ago okay?! I was TWELVE! A year I don't want to remember!) The Elenium series - David Eddings... SPARHAWK IS SO COOL! (it's fantasy, like LOTR... hence the odd name...) Deep Thoughts and Deeper Thoughts - Jack Hendy (if you call them books...? They rip off philosophy... for example... Imagine: A world without war, a world without hate... then I can imagine us attacking that world because we'd never expect it...) Lord Of The Flies - William Golding (yes, I liked it okay?! Anything wrong with that...??!!) I can't think of anymore at the moment... oh well... bye...
