"Colour is the keyboard, the eyes are the hammers, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand which plays, touching one key or another, to cause vibrations in the soul" - Wassily Kandinsky One of the founders of abstract art, he wrote this in his book 'On The Spiritual In Art' published in 1912. Throughout his life he constantly linked art with music, and music with art. He even named many of his paintings 'Compositions' He is one of my favourite artists. Thanks, Collette
