um thanks!  How does that relate to a black hole? I last did physics seven years ago...things have apparently moved on!   |

You think I actually understand all that stuff!  the event horizon is basically the point of no return.......the radius around a black beyond which nothing can escape. If you want any more info at all, there's a great article in an old Newton magazine which I could regurgitate for you |
