there damnit, i got the books: Hollywood Husbands: Jackie Collins and The Hunt For Red October: Tom Clancy put How to Travel with a Salmon...: Umberto Eco and Voltaire's Bastards: John Ralston Saul on order. or whatever its called. i even had to get a bloody library card (have always feared libraries since i borrowed out mrs. doubtfire the book when i was 9 or 10, and i lost it, never borrowed from a library since. apparently they dont remember though, so i aint saying a word.), and then smile politely whilst the lady told me how to find a book (after i had already found the ones i wanted rather quickly - daft woman). now i just have to read them (after harry potter of course - the people that own this place love him, and i want to know what all the nonsense is about.)

oh man......300 pages left in cold six thousand by james elroy (getting a bit slow at the moment, but its been from dallas to vietnam and i'm only half way there...) and practise of programming (kengihan & pike) good read about programming design issues (in C, C++ and java). Kenighan has the 3rd team member of the unix inventors....
then i've got to find voltaire's bastards? wait...i've already seen the Red October movie .....oops, did say that out loud?

ive finished it now, and damnit, its all happy shit. its annoying. actually, the only copy they had of hollywood husbands was this double volume that came with rock star (show?) as well, so i might have to read that too now. sigh. ;D

They were my favourite. I read those as much as I could for the read-a-thons. I won that book in Year 6 for highest achiever i think. either that or most improved. Reading suggestion: the bible
