Being a bit of Gothic fiction fan, the news of Ann Rice's "the queen of the dammed" being adapted into a movie bought a little excitement to my somewhat drab existance. Basically the movie sucked, but it has brought me to begin the task of reading Ann Rice's 'the vampire chronicles'. The first insallment is the novel 'Interview with the vampire' (also a brilliant movie), which I have been reading over the past few weeks. If you're into a bit of Vampiric romanticism, read these books.
