Does anyone know of a CD shop that still carries old SFK releases like singles from Elsewhere for 8 Minutes, Beautiful Sharks or the Big Screen Television video?
Also oone that sells SFK vinyls and t'shirts?

Ok well redeye has 2 shops [maybe 3 now] in sydney. I have found lots of very old SFK singles in the 2nd hand part there - for 5 dollars.
I cant remember the addy but it should be on the website. Also, waterfront records which was rumoured to be closing down, and i havent gone to syd cd shopping for awhile so it may or may not still exist.
Yeah so go check out all the redeye stores. They dont list all the cool 2nd hand stuff on the website - i've gone down their and found cool sfk stuff they didnt have listed so its worth stopping by.

waterfront has died....it was bought by one of the big music labels and didn't make enough money for them. redeye is your best chance, though don't expect any bargins. Check out www.redeye.com.au for prices. They also tend to sell rarer items via ebay now. The shop is next to St. Paddys tavern, about a block north of the Queen Vic building. |
