This topic is going nowhere. Sorry to say but Something For Kate really don't seem like the type of music some of you should be listening to. Maybe all the girls who think that Paul would actually enjoy a blow from a desperate girl that doesn't even know him should start listening to Shaggy or Ra Rule. <br> If Paul, Clint or Steph came in here they might get abit of a laugh about you all wanting to fuck them but after 17 pages I think it's getting a bit obsessive. The members of Something For Kate all have beautiful minds and you're just making them all dirty. SFK aren't about that. Sorry if anyone was offended but I really had to say something. No you didn't have to say something. You're trying to fire us up and it won't work. I'll try and keep to the topic. 1. We are joking. Sparky doesn't actually believe she'll be going down on Paul any time soon, just like I don't think I'll be getting any love from Britney or one of the other in my top 15 or so that is buried somewhere on the non-SFK forum. 2. What does it matter what sort of music we like? Who says that because we don't listen to Shaggy that we are any better or worse than those who do. So because I like Destiny's Child I naturally am a desperate groupie? And yes I'll readily admit to probably be the most accepting of pop usic on this board, because I appreciate the talents of those involved, because you don't HAVE to write your own songs to be good, but by doing both you should just get more respect. Another issue that I've been over many times and will not go into again. 3. It's not 17 pages of us saying we want to fuck them. It's 17 pages of varied conversation with the more-than-occasional innuendo-laced remark, because we're all friends and we like that humour. 4. If Paul, Clint and Steph did come here, it wouldn't change a thing whether they loved us or hated us. We appreciate the music, and we often talk about it, but the board is about more than that. 5. Do you know they have beautiful minds? When did you last have a conversation with Paul? You can't claim to know someone because you've heard him play his guitar for 2 hours at a pub. And what makes their minds any more beautiful than ours? I have feelings too, but just because you see my happy, joking side more often than you see Paul's (becuase he has said he writes songs when he's down becuase he doesn't want to waste the happier times), doesn't mean that I don't hurt just as much sometimes. 6. We're not making SFK dirty. They are no different as a resut of what WE say. We're not that powerful. 7. If you don't like it, don't come here. Nobody's forcing you. And we're not going to change because of someone who's made 5 posts to date. That's not to act superior, it's just stating a fact. Your opinion is valid. But we're going to make our comments somewhere, and this is where we choose to do it. That's our free will. You can choose to read it or otherwise. That's your free will. |

I dont think you should have to listen to music that is reflective of your personality

Hat's off to the Captain - I couldn't have put it more elegantly if I tried!!! Hey we don't mind newcomers throwing their two sense worth but let me remind all and sundry that WE are a close knit community who look after their OWN. Sfk's music is all about love and tolerance! - don't forget that! I would know, I've had the pleasure of emailing paul for on a regular basis, judge not what you don't understand!! I've also had the tremendous pleasure to get to know the beautiful souls who regulary grace this boards. Their contributions add sunshine to my and many other's day. Thanks!!
