Paul said: "That song was almost gonna be on the album. That song means as much to me as any other song I’ve ever written." i had to ask him about it, since it's my fave song, so i thought i'd start a lil thread about the lil submarine feel free to tell me how much you love it too! ;D (if you hate it, i don't wanna know - although, i always welcome a good debate... )

well nobodies replied yet so i will! i like it, especially the drums....like most of their songs the feel of it is very good, very oceanic if i may say, especially the flow. the way it builds up slowly and then breaks down is excepionally good....

Yes, I like it too. Nice and bubbly and blue and mellow. I spose it wouldn't really suit the album though. I generally like the B sides better than SFKs album songs, but I can see why they wouldn't really fit.

mmmmm i love this song too. i love the second guitar part playing the rhythm that kind of sounds like scales [for want of a better description].... i love how the song builds up in that part...

i agree sherbie. b-sides are what i live for these days. i was waiting on the release of 'say something' so badly because i knew it meant another b-side. i almost crashed the car after i bought it i wanted to hear 'folded papar boats' so badly. ;D

yeah submarine is my favourite b side, and second only to my all time favourite sfk song, 'what ever you want'... It crushes me that paul is capable of producing such sublime music, that even the b sides can move you to tears...really most of their b sides should really be referred to as 'aa' sides because they are so good! ;D ...god how I love talented men...

...and I'm gonna drop Clints name in here as well! I know he fits in the "talented men" category, but hell, if we're naming the dog...
