Barbara Tran just sent me an email about this, i had no idea but maybe someone here does? maybe even someone here was lucky enough to win...

"When Monsters was first released, the SFK newsletter (http://www.somethingforkate.com/list/newsletter_24.htm) so I waited around for more info but never found anything out.  I finally got around to asking Andrew and Carlene and they said that Murmur organised it.  Did any of you (or anyone you know) end up winning one?  I would just like to know what the print was actually of!"

is that the same competition with the red numbers printed on the front of the monsters single? if so, my understanding was that it was a special version of either the can opener or satelite pictures we all know and love. my understanding is based on some subconsciousall memory from i don't know where.
