SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - Following the release of the Rolling Stone readers poll, the magazine has decided to change its name. From now on the magazine will be known as "Something for Kate".
Spokemans Jim Smith said "Its time for us to get a new look. People nowadays are looking for fresh insights, something that we feel we can't provide with a name "Rolling Stone" "
Apparently, this is not a shock move in the industry. "We were all ready to change our name last year. We were going to badge ourselves "Powderfinger", we even had the business cards ready" Mr. Smith relates. "But then someone found out that it was the name of a Neil Young song. Not cool."
Management think the new moniker will strike a chord with the intelligent music crowd. Industry guru Steve Jones said he "skeptical at first, but the new name, with a subtle reference to Katie Underwood, [ex-Bardot] would give the magazine the street cred it has gradually lost"
"Hell, they just had to change their name" said Mr. Jones "If Jerry Hall jumps off the Rolling Stone bandwagon, its time for everyone else too as well."

Is sharon ashworth tiffany's sister? Maybe the guys would like peer recognition, especially if arias = BIG US $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ = even bigger AUS $$$$$$$$$$$$ (1US = ~0.51AUS?) (attention: Sony international, how's the marketing team going?)
