jerry and the manmade sharks hit the stage at around 10:30, emerging from the blue lights, the theme from jaws rumbling in the background. A stage set complete with man made foil sharks attatched to the amplifiers and a sharks head on the drum kit was the scene for jerry, and his band of man made sharks, to play a set of Something for Kate covers. Paul warned us they weren't in any hurry to go home, dont think anyone else was either. I got a setlist (plus an electricity single and jerry t-shirt)! They played a few in a different order, may have been a couple more thrown in, but this was what paul had in mind:
dreamworld BSTV monsters old pictures anchorman anarchitect butterflys sharks 3 dimensions stunt show submarine *solo* white *solo* whatever something in return working against me back to you happy endings -------------- i got you 20 years say something seasick dean martin
at which point it was 12:30, the lights came on and the band departed. I HAD to leave (make it across town to friends bday), now i'm hoping there wasn't a second encore....

The tshirt is pretty cool - it's green and has the buisness guy in the water with his hands in the air - and has "Jerry and the man made sharks!?!" and the date on the bottom
Someone on the soundczech forum said he'd taped the show, the mp3s had come up a treat, and that he was looking for a place to upload them!

Thanks Eddiev for filling us all in about Jerry and his sharky mates! The concert sounded amazing and the set list looked sick! Bummer, I'm stuck on the wrong side of this wide brown land...

Hi everyone! I'm Natalie and new to the forum thingo, but have been a member of the egroup for a short while now...i only just figured out how to use this thing! I flew down from Sydney to see the POW gig and, although they didn't encore twice, they did avail themselves to admiring fans for autographing memorabilia and photography! I too snatched a set-list and merchandise, and got everything signed! What a lovely bunch of gentlemen the 2 boys are (Steph cut her foot on glass on stage so didn't come out).

Hey Natalie... I'm getting a strange vibe from you... It's like you were hanging around a REALLY good looking guy at the Prince of Wales on Wednesday... But of course how could I possibly know that? Maybe we met in a past life?

In regard to the show... Yeah it was awesome... Had a lot of fun, Blueline Medic were very good too... Pleased to announce that I was one of the few who knew the words to I Got You. (But everyone got the chorus once they figured out what song it was)...
I got the three singles, bargain hey, and I in fact got two copies of each, one for my friend who doesn't yet know that Paul and Clint signed Hallways. I still don't have a SFK t-shirt, because I want my SFK t-shirt to be something super cool, and I wasn't inspired by the memorise and repeat one, or the one with the Twenty Years photo... I do have a Jerry and the Manmade Sharks t-shirt though which is cool.
I managed to spend the majority of the night with six lovely ladies. What guy could complain? I was also lucky enough to be first in line... We were chatting while standing outside the doors and then people started standing behind us... So we thought that was pretty sweet...

I was one of the few who knew the words to I Got You. Me too, but it's tricky to sing when you're suffering repeated elbow shots to the head from drunk twats standing behind you

Sounds like it was a good show, and the setlist looks cool. Give a yell when the MP3s become available
