i was watching home and away tonight (cause it's *putting on best 12 y/o impression* like my favourite show and stuff )), and what did my ears pick up in the background, but a something for kate song....it was an echolalia track, i think it might have been say something. Anyway how do you feel about SFK's music being played on such a fine example of sophisticated Australian TV? How do you think Paul would feel about signing a copy of the Dawson's Creek soundtrack for me?

Ill have to admit I watch Home and Away sometimes . I think it woyld be quite embarassing having a song on that show as the actors are all pretty crap. As for the Dawsons Creek Idea I think SFK should consider doing the Intro song for it . Which song is the question???

I think there should be a new Aussie drama, Dempsey's Creek, centred around three main charactors, Paul, Clint & Steph, all 20 somethings in real life but in the show they pretend (sorry, act) to be teenagers in their final year of school.
They live beside the Yarra Creek, and have unrealistic, simile laden conversations, in what middle aged television critics dub an insight in youth culture.
The lead actors then attempt to build movie careers, and all fail except for Steph, who models her career on Katie Holmes.

Paul, now being at a brand new high school, is strickend by the problem of being in love.... with his best pair of acid wash jeans. They've been friends for years, ever since Paul's mum swiped them from target. But now Paul's mixing with a new crowd, the IN crowd. This is a world of proms, quater backs and SATs, which begs the question - what the hell are SATs. This is Dempsey's Creek.

Unfortunately, with a bit of help from my Girlfriend, I’ve been suckered into thinking the Home & Away monster is a friend. I’m sorry to admit that I watch it all the time. I have noticed in recent months that they’ve been playing SFK a lot. I’ve started to think that they could re-release Echolalia as the H&A soundtrack. I have noticed in the past week that they’ve been playing another band and that SKF have been rejected by the lovely staff at Channel 7 (?). Home & away will not be the same without you SFK, please come back.
Love the Dempsey’s Creek idea.

Yep I'm serious, they played the hot potato song for one of the little girls on the show.
I think they are about to tour the US
I wonder if they'll ever support SFK?
