Hey everyone. I was just wondering which version of monsters you like better? I liked the sngle version better to start off with but now the album version is starting to grown on me. Ive also been listening to Manmade horse a fair bit. That could also be a potential single i reckon.

I like the album version better. Not heaps better and not really for any particular reason but its just the overall sound that is nicer and it definitely fits better on the album. But you know, its the same song, only slightly different. Can't complain either way.

i'm voting for album, i'm not quite sure why, i think it something to do with with the time that the bass comes in, halfway through the verse. but they're both pretty classy.

After much deliberation:
Album version, but I like the little feedback bit at the start of the single version...I just prefer the timing of the drums' entry in the album version
Both versions are miles better than the demo, but that's to be expected

i guess you've all heard the story how monsters was written....s4k and paul in particular where having a pretty big case of writers block, then steph takes them to a travel agents and they just fly away to a thai island (you've gotta love the rockstars life style, at the drop of hat, they're lounging on a beach..)
and the snorkeling and bright fish and beautiful sharks allow s4k to relax......paul strides out of the water, sits down on a chair on the front porch of a beach hut with a guitar and coconut full of rum (well, he's never mentioned the coconut, but i'm sure it was there....or are coconuts limited to paciffic islands....anyway..) and he just croons out monsters, looking out to bright blue thai gulf and those crazy islands.....when you just imagine how good that would have sounded to a man struggling to string two notes together...well, single, album, whatever.....

because i'm an individual and like to be different and or difficult, i like the demo version found on the 3D single the best . It's nice to see how things started.

I like the demo as well...I'm not gonna pretend I like it more than the other versions but it is very cool. And it's funny to hear that that's how it all began.
P.S. I know that that last sentence was just a rewording of eddie's last sentence but it's hard thinking of original things to say, OK?
