Need some software to record guitar, bass, vocals and a drum machine. I know a fair bit about computers, but not much about recording music on them so if anybody could help me out on what you know that would be great.

Yes, give Audacity a try. It's completely free and you can get it from audacity.sourceforge.net/It's pretty easy to record to different sound channels then combine them together. In theory, you could make a demo with it pretty fast. You might need to play around with the synchronisation but it's pretty good for a freeware program. |
