hey ok maybe this is a little selfish, but i'm trying anyway. i am a total lazy arse and the only way i can get myself to practice is to find a song i totally adore and then i'll learn it. i play acoustic guitar, hopefully i'll get a bass for xmas, then i'll bug you all for bass tabs . but for now... could someone tell me a few of the easiest sfk songs to play on acoustic guitar? maybe if i start with some easy ones i'll get the guts to try the harder ones! thanks luv janey

Twenty years is very easy, and The Astronaut is pretty easy too.

Photograph was the very first song I learned on my guitar. Easy peasy.

really? I don't think I've ever tried photograph. so now I will. I'll repeat though, 20 years is heaps easy, just e minor, g major, and c major open chords for a lot of it.

Astronaut is pretty easy on accoustic guitar, esp. if you play it the way Paul does on the Monsters single,
E major, Asus2, F# minor and Asus2 for the verse, and the chorus is only G# minor, A major
the only tricky part is getting the rhythm during the "yeah I will blow you out of the sky..." part, but thats only G major, C major, A minor, D major, A major then back to verse chords (right?)
Or at least how I play it.
And photograph is pretty easy, Then after that maybe you should tackle 'Slowdance'
Oh, does anyone else find that 'Captain' is deceptively easy(ish)?

when you have your bass, if you do, three dimensions is sooooooo easy.. I don't play bass at all, I just pick up my friends, it's got to be the EASIEST SONG EVER to play on bass.. lol..

Heh, I'd have to agree with you there. It's pretty basic, actually, the only tricky (sorta) is that bridge part, getting the timing right.
